Simple Custard Pudding
This is a simple custard pudding recipe that even a starter can do if you have the required ingredients that can be found almost anywhere around the globe. This is prepared with just 3 ingredients and let's say no to eggs for now. But it tastes so smooth and creamy just like other puddings. If you have it once, I'm sure you'd love it. Especially kids would cry for more! So let's get down to work. But before we start, let's take a look at few tips.

- You can add nuts of your choice for garnishing.
- You may adjust sugar to your taste.
Ingredients:
1 litre milk
1/2 cup sugar
4 tablespoons custard powder
crushed pistachios
1. In a heavy bottom pan, add milk and sugar. Using a wooden spoon, stir until the sugar is dissolved.
2. Take 4 tablespoons from the prepared milk to a small bowl. Add the custard powder to this bowl and mix well.
3. Pour this mixture to the milk we prepared in the 1st step and stir well.
4. Boil the milk until thick or the pudding sticks to the back of the spoon. Remember to stir constantly once kept on flames.
5. Turn off the heat. Immediately transfer it to the serving plates. Otherwise it will get thicker and be difficult to handle.
6. Garnish with pistachios on top. Cool down and the custard pudding is ready to be served.
Good Luck with the preparation!

Avocado Juice
Avocado, the highly nutritious fruit is widely known to have excellent health benefits. Avocados contain high fat content. But researches found substituting avocados in our diet can help lower bad cholesterol levels (LDL) while raising good cholesterol (HDL), thus protecting us from heart diseases. The fruit is also highly beneficial to eyes, stomach and helps strengthen the immunity system and wards off diseases. There are plenty of other benefits too.
But as the fruit is not so sweet , many of them seem to dislike it. But we can have it in another tasty way, JUICE!!!

Tips:
- Try to get ripe avocados, as unripe ones can affect the taste of the juice. Use the avocados as soon as you cut them. They can quickly turn brown after exposure to air.
- You can add in more sugar if you love sweet juice.
- If you are out of milk, use condensed milk as its substitute. If using sweetened condensed milk, cut out the sugar. Otherwise you'll end up with juice with too much sweet. If you don't have any of these on hand, you can use evaporated milk.
- If vanilla extract in not available, you may add a pinch of cardamom powder.
1 avocado, ripe
1/2 cup sugar
100ml cold water
500ml cold milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method:
1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the seed.
2. Using a spoon, scoop out the pulp completely, leaving away the skin.
3. Add the pulp , sugar and water into a blender and blend well.
4. Next add milk, vanilla extract and blend for about 1 minute.
5. Pour into a glass and serve chilled.
Good luck with the preparation.

- It's always best to use unsalted butter as the salt in it can overpower the sweet flavor of the butter. For best results, bring the butter to room temperature (keep the butter out of the refrigerator for at least 1 hour prior to the preparation or until it gets soft).
- If you don't have powdered sugar, you can prepare it yourself by powdering granulated sugar in a blender until it is grounded in to a very fine powder. Never add the sugar to the recipe as soon as it is powdered. As it will be slightly hot and that can mess up your preparation. So let it sit for at least 5-10 minutes before use.
- Just like butter, bring the egg to room temperature before use.
- Freshly baked cookies can be a bit fragile. So it's highly recommended to let them cool completely before you serve.
- Store cookies in an air tight container. But it's important to let the freshly baked ones loose their moisture completely before storing. Else, the cookies will get soft and crumble. To avoid this, let it cool for a couple of hours before storing.
